What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Success Associate position at Grantd?
About the Role
Grantd Equity is an AI-powered equity compensation management platform serving 300 RIA firms. The Client Success Associate is a hybrid operations and client support role — you'll own the day-to-day service requests and back-office workflows that keep our clients running. That means handling incoming support requests, processing invoices, entering equity compensation data, supporting client onboarding and migrations, and helping QA new product releases before they reach clients. You'll work directly under the VP of Service Delivery and be a core part of a lean, high-output team.
This role is open to applicants in all US states. It is remote for candidates based outside the greater Denver region; candidates in the Denver area work on a hybrid schedule.
What You'll Do
- Enter equity compensation data with a high degree of accuracy, including RSU grants, ISO/NSO option awards, vesting schedules, and exercise history
- Review client-submitted grant documents and data files to ensure completeness and accuracy before platform entry
- Serve as a first point of contact for client questions across phone, email, and chat, escalating issues thoughtfully when needed
- Monitor support queues, identify recurring themes, and flag emerging issues
- Support the migration of StockOpter clients to Grantd by coordinating timelines, data transfers, and proactive client communication
- Participate in onboarding calls and follow-up touchpoints that help new clients get up and running successfully
- Maintain clear and up-to-date records in our CRM (HubSpot), including ticket activity, migration progress, and client health indicators
- Assist with reporting on activation rates, support volume, and client satisfaction metrics
- Contribute to client-facing documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials that help clients succeed with the platform
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in client services, operations, or financial services
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy in data entry or data review work
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into concise, client-friendly language and adapt your style to the audience
- Ability to draft polished client-facing emails, follow-up summaries, and support communications with minimal revision
- Strong ownership instincts — you follow up proactively and close the loop on open items without being prompted
- Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment where processes are still being built, and a willingness to help shape them
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting RIA or wealth management clients
- Familiarity with equity compensation platforms such as StockOpter, Carta, or Shareworks
- Exposure to SaaS onboarding, implementation, or client migration workflows
- Prior experience entering or reviewing financial or legal data
- Exposure to financial services compliance requirements, including SEC or FINRA environments
- Familiarity with omnichannel support tools such as Nextiva, HubSpot, or Zoom
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $50,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience
- 401(k) with company match
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid time off and company holidays
