A respected Twin Cities law firm is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to support attorneys and legal professionals across multiple practice areas. This position will initially focus on supporting a Trust & Estates team while offering the opportunity to gain exposure to additional areas of law over time.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional client service are valued.


Responsibilities:

  • Draft, format, edit, and proofread legal and business documents
  • Manage attorney calendars, meetings, appointments, and deadlines
  • Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and third parties
  • Organize and maintain electronic files and records
  • Assist with document management, file openings, and administrative workflows
  • Monitor attorney correspondence and support document processing
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and administrative requests
  • Maintain accurate records and client information
  • Provide responsive support to attorneys, legal professionals, and clients
  • Assist with special projects and additional practice group support as needed


Qualifications

  • Previous legal assistant, legal administrative assistant, executive assistant, or related professional support experience preferred
  • Experience within a law firm environment preferred
  • Trust & Estates and/or Intellectual Property experience is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong typing, proofreading, and document formatting abilities
  • Experience with document management systems is a plus
