Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and equipment. Duties

• Conduct preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and appliances to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes accurately.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and electrical wiring to restore equipment functionality.
• Perform HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) system servicing to ensure optimal climate control and refrigeration performance.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate precise repairs and installations.
• Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while executing all maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools necessary for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, installation, and maintenance across diverse machinery types.
• Experience in construction or facility upgrades is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting work procedures clearly.
