The Cage Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the financial integrity of the casino, providing exceptional service to guests and staff.
What You'll Do
- Safeguard assets.
- Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Oversee daily cage operations, including cash handling, chip transactions, check cashing, and bank balancing.
- Ensures compliance with Title 31 guidelines including CTRs and MTLs.
- Monitor cage procedures and transactions to maintain a secure and compliant environment and prevent theft, fraud, or loss and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle escalated customer complaints or disputes with diplomacy and a customer focused approach.
- Assist Cage Cashier/Player Service Representative/Floor Host with daily tasks
- Maintain records of transactions and cash counts, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Document all incidents, variances, or regulatory violations, following proper protocols for reporting and report to management promptly.
- Performs all vault functions – manages and maintains custody of coin, currency, checks and records of cage transactions on shift.
- Assists Cage Manager in maintaining accurate records on shift.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of internal activities.
- Count starting and ending cash on hand by denomination
- Verify GOC (Games of Chance)
- Complete Fills and Drops in TRMs and Recyclers.
- Balancing and distributing cash for business start of day.
- Address staff issues or conflicts, escalating to management as needed to maintain a positive work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma. GED, or relevant experience.
- Previous gaming or banking experience preferred.
