Overview
We are seeking an experienced countertop installer to join our team at Granite Gallery of the Shoals. This position is responsible for the delivery, installation, and final fitting of granite, quartz, and other stone countertops, sinks, and backsplashes in residential and commercial settings.
The ideal candidate has prior hands-on experience in countertop installation or stone fabrication, understands how to work with heavy materials, and takes pride in precise, high-quality craftsmanship.
This is a physically demanding, skilled trade position that requires attention to detail, problem-solving on job sites, and the ability to complete installations safely and efficiently. Installers will work closely with the fabrication shop to ensure each project is completed to exact specifications and finished to a high standard.
Duties
- Load countertops, sinks, and backsplash materials safely for transport
- Deliver and carry heavy stone materials into homes and job sites
- Install granite, quartz, and other stone countertops accurately
- Set and secure undermount, drop-in, and farmhouse sinks
- Install stone backsplashes neatly and level
- Make on-site adjustments, seam work, and final fitting as needed
- Ensure countertops are level, secure, and properly supported
- Apply adhesives, silicone, and finishing materials cleanly
- Protect customer homes and keep job sites clean during installation
- Work with the fabrication/shop team to ensure accurate fit
- Handle tools, install equipment, and materials safely
- Inspect finished work for quality before leaving the job site
Pay will depend on experience, and we pay well for the right person. If you know this trade and can produce quality work, we are willing to pay for skill, reliability, and craftsmanship.
