- Safely operate collection vehicles in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.
- Provide professional and timely service to residential and commercial customers.
- Collect and load waste materials, including containers, bags, and larger items, into the truck as needed.
- Operate vehicle controls to lift, empty, and return containers to their proper locations.
- Exit the vehicle as required to manually collect or assist with additional waste items.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate route records and communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors.
- Demonstrate Granger’s Core Four values: Safety, Care, Customer Service, and Profit.
- Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays)
- 3:00am - 6:00am start time
- Class B CDL with airbrakes
- Good driving record
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to work a physically demanding job
- Ability to perform physical requirements of position and pass a physical and drug screen including marijuana (pre-employment and random)
