As our Business Development Manager, you’ll lead efforts to expand our presence in the Ohio market, build relationships with key decision-makers, and support the pursuit process from start to finish.

We Could Count On You With
- Building a strategic network of professionals and influencers in target markets.
- Attending industry events and joining organizations to strengthen Granger’s presence.
- Researching and qualifying new prospects and projects.
- Motivating and assisting internal teams in developing winning strategies.
- Managing CRM data in Cosential, including opportunities, clients, and BD calendars.
- Coaching project staff for presentations and interviews.
- Supporting marketing efforts by wordsmithing technical content for RFQs/RFPs and reviewing for messaging and compliance.
- Planning and managing BD-related events (industry functions, client outings, career fairs, etc.).
- Participating in internal meetings tied to market sectors and BD efforts.
- Building greater brand awareness in the Ohio market.
- 5 years of experience in business development or sales processes.
- Basic understanding of the commercial construction industry.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A proactive mindset with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.
- Comfort with CRM tools (Cosential experience is a plus).
