Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Address guest concerns promptly, demonstrating strong customer service skills and guest relations expertise
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Conduct night audits when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area that reflects the hotel’s hospitality standards
Experience
- Prior hotel or hospitality management experience preferred; familiarity with front desk operations is highly valued
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a significant advantage for serving diverse guests effectively
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable
- Knowledge of resort or hotel environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest services
- Previous night audit experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
