Casual Dining Server Assistant

Position Overview:

As a Server Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment. You will assist servers in delivering exceptional service to our guests and maintain a clean and organized dining area. Your attention to detail and teamwork will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our patrons.

This role is a key position in our operational excellence delivery goals.  The role may advance into a Server level position should the incumbent demonstrate sufficient strategic development and enlargement of performance scope.  The successful person will be an advocate of our mission, values, and brand from a Food and Beverage level.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Assist servers in setting up tables and preparing the dining area for service.
• Greet guests and assist them to their tables.
• Provide water and bread service to guests.
• Clear and reset tables in a timely manner.
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs, and sweeping the floor.
• Assist in stocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing excellent service.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Education & Experience 

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Have basic knowledge of wine and wine/food service preferred but not required.
