Cook- Pizza Station

Position Overview:
The Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and related menu items in accordance with established recipes, standards, and resort expectations. This role ensures consistent food quality, efficient service, and a clean, organized workspace. Pizza Cooks may be classified by skill level (Cook I, II, III), with Cook I representing the highest level of proficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare pizzas and menu items according to established recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
• Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure all food meets quality, consistency, and presentation expectations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, including opening and closing duties
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to inspection-level standards
• Ability to help other areas when needed
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate inventory or supply needs to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with kitchen team members in a fast-paced, resort environment
• Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene standards
• Communicate equipment issues, repairs, or operational concerns promptly
• Perform additional duties as assigned 

Job Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and attention to detail
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–7 hours), as well as bend, reach, and climb stairs
• Ability to read basic labels (including cleaning chemicals) and complete simple written reports
• Ability to meet skill standards based on assigned cook level 

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience (1 year in a kitchen setting)
• Previous pizza or line cook experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license may be required for certain roles involving company vehicles
