SALARY RANGE: $26.35 - $32.94 HOURLY/DOE
SUMMARY:
Manages over all operations and staff within the Cage Department ensuring the highest quality of efficiency, accuracy, customer service and security in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Grand River Casino. The Cage Manager will have oversight of the Cage Supervisor and Cashiers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the oversight of all department procedures and internal controls.
- Performs all functions in accordance with applicable federal/state/tribal laws and gaming regulations.
- Responsible for asset and activity management/reporting of the Cage Department, including but not limited to deposits, returns, ATM machines, and ticket kiosks.
- Develop and manage the department operating budget.
- Manage all shortages and overages in accordance with established procedural process.
- Manage department supplies’ stock and usage system.
- Ensure correct and accurate administration of the Cage Department operations.
- Responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of department staff.
- Perform regulatory department employee performance reviews.
- Comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 21 years of age. Must obtain Standing Rock Tribal “Key” Gaming License.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Work experience considered in lieu of education.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficiency required in personnel computer operations, using word processing software (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel) and email software (Microsoft Outlook). Must be able to work various automated machines and computer programs. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have two years casino cashier or bank teller experience. Knowledge and understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/Title 31 Program. Six-month supervisory experience preferred. Experience working in a casino environment preferred.
PHYSICAL:
Requires repetitive hand/finger dexterity, sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods at a time. Must be able to bend, kneel, and reach. Normal (or corrected to normal) hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
