What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Revenue Clerk position at GRAND RIVER CASINO?
SALARY RANGE: $14.31 - $17.36 HOURLY/DOE
SUMMARY:
Review, verify, and record all documentation from cage, soft count, black jack, poker, restaurant, bar and gift shop for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Internal Revenue Clerk reviews documents submitted by various revenue-generating areas for accuracy and compliance with company standards and internal controls.
- He/she prepares daily managers’ reports and figures used in preparation of financial reports.
- The Internal Revenue Clerk reports any variances or discrepancies to the Comptroller for review.
- He/she prepares and maintains various spreadsheets for tracking purposes.
- Will audit the sports betting kiosks in accordance with the slot audit procedures.
- He/she shall perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Director.
- Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE:
Six months experience in accounting or related field preferred. Must possess knowledge of the computer and spread sheets, Excel® preferred
