Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions
- Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or bars
- Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
