ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF RN:
- Perform and document all basic technical and emergency nursing skills, within the framework of licensure and as outlined on individual care plans
- Document care delivery
- Conduct observations, medication, and treatments promptly and accurately
- Assume charge nurse duties when designated including but not limited to adjusting assignments and schedules to best meet needs of residents with appropriate use of personnel
- Assess and document health status of all residents who are unstable or requiring intervention
- Make rounds with physicians
- Transcribe physicians orders
- Assist, develop, revise, and review resident care plans
- Evaluate staff observations
- Use equipment and supplies in a precise, accurate, calm manner
- Replace absent staff as necessary
- Has access to confidential information and maintains confidentiality
- Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, and public
- Additional duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF LPN:
- Perform and document all basic technical and emergency nursing skills within the framework of licensure and as outlined on individual care plans
- Document care delivery observations, medications, and treatments promptly and accurately
- Provide direct resident care as needed
- Request RN assessment/consultation for resident who show a change of condition
- Use equipment and supplies in a precise, accurate and calm manner
- Assume charge nurse duties when assigned including, but not limited to, adjusting assignment and schedule to best meet needs of residents and appropriate use of personnel
- Under direction of the RN, monitor an document health status of all residents who are unstable or requiring intervention
- Participate in care planning
- Obtain needed intervention and monitor process or order follow through
- Replace absent staff when necessary
- Has access to confidential information/records and maintain confidentiality
- Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, and public
- Other duties as assigned
- Transcribe physician orders
