Part Time Waitstaff
Days 7am-10:30am *Waitstaff earn $14.00/hour*

A Waitstaff teammember in Healthcare dining is primarily responsible for table service to residents and guests. Perform duties in compliance with established Company policies and procedures and in a professional manner.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills
Greet residents warmly and take their food order.
Deliver food ordered by resident and guests to the table, and demonstrate a courteous and considerate manner to all guests.
Clear prior course dishes before serving next course.
Clear tables at the end of the meal and pre-set table for the next meal service.
Perform cleaning responsibilities as assigned and ensure that the dining room is maintained in a sanitary and orderly manner.
Perform any assigned cleaning tasks and/or side jobs.
Attend scheduled meetings and in-services.
Knowledge of food handling and infection control, including HACCP standards.
Assist with preparation of food items as assigned.
Adhere to department standards of dress.
Follow directions and systems as indicated.
Perform Other Duties As Required.

Position Requirements
Experience
6 months wait staff experience in a continuing care retirement community, prefered, not required.
