Job Title: Early Middle Teaching Assistant
Reports To: EM/MS Principal
JOB SUMMARY
To serve as an Early Middle teaching assistant, fulfilling GCA’s mission to Lead, Build, and Equip students.

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Early Middle Teaching Assistant will reflect high professional standards, integrity, and a commitment to excellence within a Christian school environment. This position is accountable to assist early middle school teachers as they seek to support Christian parents in helping to equip their students to embrace biblical truth, strive for academic excellence, and model Christ-like leadership to influence their homes, churches, and communities.

- Required to work under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher.
- Maintain student records as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Maintain all diagnostic tools as directed by the teacher.
- Assist in preparing and organizing instructional materials and equipment as directed by the teacher.
- Required to monitor the classroom to support educational activities.
- Must not discuss confidential school business or student records.
- Help to monitor students during lunch.
- Initiative to identify ways to support the teachers and students in the classroom.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by the EM/MS Principal.

- Must have a clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and a lifestyle of biblical integrity.
- Affirm and communicate doctrine consistent with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 revision, and The Nashville Statement.
