GQR is expanding our Austin office and investing in leadership within our Locum Tenens division. We are hiring a Senior Recruiter to help scale our physician and advanced practice provider (APP) business.
As the Senior Recruiter, you will lead from the front with your own production while mentoring and developing a team of recruiters, driving performance, and helping scale a high-growth division.
The Opportunity:
- Lead a full-cycle locum tenens recruitment desk focused on physicians and advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs), setting the standard for activity, urgency, and results
- Own the provider lifecycle from sourcing and engagement through placement, credentialing, and assignment completion
- Partner closely with Client Development to align provider pipelines with active locums needs
- Mentor and develop recruiters through hands-on coaching, call shadowing, and deal strategy
- Hold the team accountable to KPIs across the full lifecycle (activity, submissions, interviews, starts, redeployments)
- Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and training new recruiters
- Build scalable processes and best practices to improve team performance
- Foster a competitive, high-performance culture centered on accountability and continuous improvement
What You Bring:
- 4 years of experience recruiting physicians and/or advanced practice providers within locum tenens or healthcare staffing.
- Strong understanding of locum tenens recruiting workflows, including sourcing, credentialing timelines, and assignment logistics.
- Prior experience mentoring, training, or leading recruiters (official title not required)
- High level of accountability and comfort holding others to KPIs and other performance standards
- Elite communication, influence, and closing skills
- Competitive mindset with a genuine interest in developing others
