What You'll Own
- Lead and scale transportation operations freight brokerage across FTL, LTL, and heavy haul/specialized freight
- Drive revenue growth through hands-on sales, client development, and strategic partnerships
- Oversee complex heavy haul projects including planning, permitting, routing, and execution
- Build and manage a reliable carrier network across standard and specialized capacity
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and capacity solutions to maximize margin and service
- Create and refine processes, KPIs, and operational structure
- Act as the go-to problem solver-handling service failures, capacity crunches, and high-pressure situations with confidence
- Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing operations and brokerage team
- Extensive experience in transportation management, freight brokerage, and heavy haul
- A track record of building and scaling operations from the ground up
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to grow accounts and win new business
- Deep understanding of oversized/overweight freight, permitting, and specialized routing
- Proven ability to solve problems in real time and keep freight moving no matter what
- Expertise in carrier procurement, pricing strategy, and margin management
- Natural leader with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
- True ownership and autonomy-you will shape the operation
