Responsibilities For The Territory Sales Manager
- Develop and grow business within an assigned territory targeting commercial ownership groups, property management firms, developers, and contractors
- Identify and pursue renovation, capital improvement, turnover, and new construction opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers throughout the commercial industry
- Generate new business while expanding existing customer accounts
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, jobsite visits, and product demonstrations
- Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and secure profitable contracts
- Collaborate with estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain visibility into upcoming projects, market trends, and competitive activity
- Consistently achieve sales goals and territory growth objectives
- Outside sales, account management, or business development experience required
- Commercial/multifamily flooring, tile, interiors, building materials, construction services, or related industry experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts
- Experience calling on property managers, ownership groups, developers, general contractors, and renovation firms preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage a remote territory
