Superintendent

• The Commercial Construction Superintendent is responsible for the on-site management, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects up to $30M. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contract documents.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily field operations from project start through closeout
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow
• Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules (short-term and long-term)
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company safety programs
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and compliance with plans/specifications
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and Owners
• Lead subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and progress meetings
• Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays proactively
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation
• Ensure proper sequencing of work and site logistics planning
• Oversee inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven experience managing projects up to $30M
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
