This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in commercial litigation, who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility and grow within a collaborative environment. The firm is also open to candidates with strong litigation experience from other practice areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Prepare and argue motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Assist with case strategy, trial preparation, and client communication
- Collaborate with partners and support staff to drive case progress
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Arkansas
- 2 years of litigation experience preferred (commercial litigation a plus, but not required)
- Strong experience with:
- Answering and propounding discovery
- Drafting motions
- Taking depositions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
