What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for structural steel fabrication and erection projects
- Perform material take-offs and pricing using Tekla EPM
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure scope completeness
- Track and incorporate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Monitor scope changes and adjust estimates accordingly
- Collaborate with internal teams to support successful bid execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- 5 years of experience in the structural steel industry
- Strong proficiency with Tekla EPM
- Solid understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes
- Working knowledge of current structural steel codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating-related software
- Stable, growing steel manufacturer with consistent commercial work
- Established estimating processes and support team
