Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metals
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications
- Apply AISC steel construction detailing standards and best practices
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and constructability of all drawings
- Working knowledge of AISC steel construction detailing standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer applications including Excel, email, internet tools, and PDF/image management software
- Experience with SolidWorks, Tekla, or AutoCAD (preferred)
