Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, customer certifications, and flow-down requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing tools and waste reduction methodologies
- Conduct and support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and process validation activities
- Utilize statistical methods including SPC, MSA, Cp/Cpk, and capability studies to monitor and improve process performance
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure product conformity
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory compliance efforts, and supplier quality initiatives
- Identify, research, design, and implement process improvements, new technologies, and manufacturing methods to enhance capacity, quality, and efficiency
- Lead value stream improvement efforts and champion 5S activities
- Provide mentorship, training, and informal leadership to cross-functional teams
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, quality reports, work instructions, and process documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and/or 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or related role
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, ISO standards, Lean, Six Sigma, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Experience with audits, compliance, corrective actions, and process validation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Windows-based systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead by example
