Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new residential remodeling opportunities through leads, referrals, networking, and self-generated business.
- Meet with homeowners to understand project goals, budgets, timelines, and expectations.
- Conduct in-home consultations and provide professional recommendations based on customer needs.
- Present remodeling solutions, project scopes, pricing, and options to prospective customers.
- Prepare estimates and proposals for residential remodeling projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners throughout the sales process.
- Follow up consistently with prospective customers to convert opportunities into signed projects.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, proposals, and sales activity.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Designers, Estimators, and production teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to construction.
- Develop an understanding of project scope, materials, labor requirements, and construction processes.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and project enhancements.
- Participate in networking events, community activities, and other business development efforts.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals.
- 3 years of residential remodeling, construction sales, or related experience preferred
- Proven track record of success in in-home or consultative sales
- Strong understanding of residential construction and remodeling processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with homeowners
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset
- Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with CRM and estimating software is a plus
