What You'll Do
- Handle insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Take and defend depositions; participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
- Analyze liability and damages and develop effective case strategies
- Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with partners and team members in a fast-paced litigation environment
- Active California Bar membership in good standing (required)
- 1-5 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage cases independently with appropriate supervision
- Organized, efficient, and responsive work style
- Comfortable working in a fully remote setting
