The Opportunity
We are seeking a Production Manager to help oversee daily production, manage key customer accounts, and support succession planning as a senior production leader transitions toward retirement. This is a hands-on leadership role with visibility across machining, fabrication, and finishing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.
- Assist operations manager with scheduling, production oversight, and floor management.
- Coordinate quoting and cost estimates using Paperless Parts (materials, outside services, baseline costs).
- Track and allocate production time to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Serve as the link between customer service and production teams.
- Work closely with senior production leadership to prepare for long-term succession.
- 5-10 years of manufacturing experience, ideally with both shop-floor and customer-facing roles.
- Experience with quoting, scheduling, and ERP systems; Paperless Parts experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and production priorities simultaneously.
- $60,000-$80,000 annually, overtime eligible.
- Typically 45-50 hours per week.
