Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of agronomists and support staff
- Provide expert agronomic recommendations to customers on crop production, soil health, and pest management
- Oversee crop input planning, purchasing, and inventory control
- Develop and implement agronomy programs that align with company goals and grower needs
- Stay up to date on agronomic trends, technology, and compliance standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in agronomy or crop consulting
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of crop inputs, precision ag tools, and regional growing conditions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) is a plus, not required
- Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience bonuses
