Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle probate and trust administration proceedings in Ohio probate courts.
- Prepare, review, and file detailed court accountings, estate inventory reports, and tax documents.
- Calculate beneficiary distributions and resolve complex financial or asset allocation questions.
- Partner closely with clients, executors, and financial institutions to ensure efficient estate administration and legal compliance.
- Education & Licensure: J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the Ohio State Bar. A degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent financial experience) is highly advantageous.
- Experience: 3-5 years of dedicated probate, estate administration, or fiduciary accounting experience. Exceptional candidates in their 2nd year of practice with strong accounting backgrounds will also be considered.
- Skills: Solid grasp of Ohio probate law, fiduciary accounting practices, and court filing procedures.
- Competitive Pay: $80,000 - $110,000 base salary based on experience, plus performance bonus opportunities.
