What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered agricultural equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Work with customers and service team members to identify equipment needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Stay current on equipment technology, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Occasionally assist with field service and emergency repairs during harvest seasons
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Ag Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on agricultural equipment is highly preferred
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn *willing to train the right individual and will provide further education
