A growing Chicago law firm is seeking an experienced Office Manager / HR Manager to lead both human resources and daily office operations. This is a hands-on role for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office Management
- Oversee daily office operations, vendors, supplies, and workflow
- Liaise with building management and serve as IT point of contact
- Maintain an organized, professional office environment
- Manage recruiting, onboarding, and employee records
- Ensure compliance with Illinois and federal labor laws
- Administer payroll, PTO, and benefits
- Support performance management and employee relations
- Assist with firm events and internal initiatives
- Experience in HR, office management, and supervision
- Knowledge of Illinois labor laws and HR compliance
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience (Paylocity preferred)
- Law firm experience preferred
- Full-time, in-office (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Hybrid flexibility after 60-90 days
- Occasional after-hours flexibility as needed

Salary : $80,000 - $125,000
