Responsibilities
- Managageable caseload
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses
- Conduct depositions and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Work closely with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses
- Prepare cases for trial and assist in courtroom proceedings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategy
- 2-9 years of litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred)
- Licensed and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills
- Experience managing cases independently with support from senior attorneys
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced litigation environment
