The firm handles a broad range of complex civil litigation matters and provides associates with substantive responsibility and hands-on experience throughout the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex civil litigation matters, including construction defect litigation, real estate and business disputes
- Manage cases and assist with matters through various stages of litigation
- Handle written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses
- Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings
- Conduct legal research and develop persuasive legal arguments
- Appear in court for hearings and other litigation proceedings
- Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Work closely with partners and support staff while developing independent case-management skills
- Maintain accurate and timely billing records
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California
- Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with partners and staff
- Construction defect, real estate, and/or business litigation experience strongly preferred
- Dual or multistate licensure is a plus but not required

Salary : $130,000 - $190,000
