The Opportunity
- Independently manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Handle discovery, depositions, motions, briefing, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
- Represent clients in court and participate in hearings and trials
- Develop litigation strategies and work directly with clients throughout their matters
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Potential to take on mentoring and leadership responsibilities as the practice continues to grow
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Idaho Bar membership and good standing
- Demonstrated hands-on civil litigation experience
- Comfortable managing cases with a high degree of independence
- Strong courtroom, research, writing, and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Construction, business, contract, or insurance dispute experience is a plus, but not required
- Competitive base salary, based on experience
