Job Description

- Interface with clients and their representatives
- Ensure that technical specifications and designs are feasible
- Ensure that consistent with industry standards
- Develop accurate and complete job estimates
- Identify project labor, material, and time requirements
- Study proposals, blueprints, written specifications and related documents
- Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to know project scope
- Conduct review and take-off of blueprints
- Solicit bids from subcontractors
- Gather subcontractor pricing and conduct scope review
- Evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure full scope of work was considered
- Calculate costs of subcontract labor, general conditions, and materials
- Collaborate with the client to help them achieve their project cost budget
- 5 years of experience estimating
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred
- Equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered
- Conceptual, Schematic Design, and Design Development
- Construction document budgets and estimates
