Our growing engineering firm is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure to lead municipal, water infrastructure and land development projects from concept through permitting, design, and approvals. This person will be a key leader in dynamic projects and responsible for maintaining and applying knowledge of engineering principles and codes to ensure all projects are completed properly. We're looking forsomebody with a strong background in site design, regulatory permitting, and team leadership. Our team values collaboration, accountability, and a genuine desire to help others. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee land development projects from initial planning through final approvals.
  • Lead design efforts for grading, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, and site plans.
  • Supervise project teams, including designers, engineers, and technical staff.
  • Coordinate client communication, municipal coordination, and regulatory permitting processes.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Review and approve technical engineering designs and contractor documentation.
  • Serve as the primary technical and ethical representative for the firm on key client engagements.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 5 years of land development / site design experience.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and regulatory permitting processes.
  • Excellent judgment, leadership presence, and communication skills.
  • Experience with stormwater design, drainage, and municipal projects
  • Familiarity with capital improvement projects
  • Comfortable maning people and projects
