- Counsel both private businesses and public agencies on workplace policies, employee relations, wage and hour compliance, and risk management strategies.
- Manage labor and employment litigation through all stages, including law and motion, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals.
- Draft, review, and refine employment agreements, handbooks, and related documents.
- Provide practical advice on personnel matters and workplace challenges.
- Partner with colleagues and clients to craft effective, business-minded solutions.
- 4 years of litigation experience, with labor & employment focus strongly preferred.
- Trial exposure or courtroom experience is a plus.
- Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory issues.
- Strong academic record, professional judgment, and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
- Proactive, organized, and able to balance multiple matters simultaneously.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Active California Bar membership in good standing.
