Position Overview
As a CNC Machinist Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines (primarily Haas, Hurco, and Okuma) to produce high-quality, cost-effective machined parts. This role requires minimal supervision and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines as a CNC Machinist Operator.
- Use probing tools and perform machine setups.
- Manufacture parts to meet customer specifications.
- Conduct first-part and in-process quality checks, including deburring.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist Operator preferred, but candidates with less experience and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
- Familiarity with quality systems and measurement equipment.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.
