Responsibilities & Qualifications The Appellate Attorney Will

Responsibilities & Qualifications The Appellate Attorney Will
- Handle civil appeals in Texas state and federal courts from notice of appeal through disposition
- Draft appellate briefs, petitions for review, mandamus proceedings, and dispositive motions
- Present oral argument
- Advise trial teams on error preservation and appellate strategy
- Collaborate on complex civil matters, including commercial and insurance-related disputes
- 8 years of appellate experience
- Significant brief-writing experience and oral argument background
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Active Texas law license in good standing
- Experience with complex civil litigation appeals preferred
- Board Certification in Civil Appellate Law is a plus
- Pay is top of the market for an individual with similar experience
