Job Summary
The SEO Specialist reports to the Sr. Director, SEO & Organic Traffic Growth and owns on-page and content SEO execution across all assigned brand sites in the Company's portfolio. This role is accountable for the technical and on-page hygiene that converts customer intent into organic traffic and store visits — establishing baselines, closing technical defects, implementing structured data, and feeding SEO inputs into pod operating rhythms.
Essential Functions
The SEO Specialist reports to the Sr. Director, SEO & Organic Traffic Growth and owns on-page and content SEO execution across all assigned brand sites in the Company's portfolio. This role is accountable for the technical and on-page hygiene that converts customer intent into organic traffic and store visits — establishing baselines, closing technical defects, implementing structured data, and feeding SEO inputs into pod operating rhythms.
Essential Functions
- Own on-page SEO across assigned brand sites, including title tags, meta descriptions, schema, and internal linking.
- Implement structured data and schema markup across brand sites.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive monitoring across assigned brands.
- Partner with the technical SEO lead on technical SEO fixes, including Core Web Vitals, sitemaps, and crawl errors.
- Maintain the SEO performance dashboard and publish monthly organic traffic results.
- Provide SEO inputs to the content calendar in coordination with the IMC pod leads.
- Manage budgets in accordance with approved plans and the Company's brand-funded marketing investment standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3 years of hands-on SEO execution experience.
- Demonstrated technical SEO experience, including schema, structured data, sitemap hygiene, and Core Web Vitals.
- Proficiency with SEO tooling such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar.
- Multi-brand, franchise, or portfolio context preferred.
- Strong cross-functional credibility with content, development, and IMC partners.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; able to baseline and track organic acquisition by brand.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgment in managing brand-funded marketing investments to fiduciary standards.
