What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Recruiter position at Gothic Landscape?
Gothic Landscape is looking for an experienced Sr. Recruiter to support the Landscape Maintenance Division. This role will partner closely with maintenance Branch Managers and Senior Leadership to develop and execute recruiting strategies that supports our working environment and company culture. You will identify, engage and hire top-tier talent across all the branches within the Maintenance Division.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
*Potential Hybrid (remote & on-site) & out-of-state travel may be required based on business needs
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Provides full cycle recruiting for a wide range of roles for all the Maintenance branches in CA, AZ & NV
- Consult and collaborate with the hiring managers to identify market trends, talent needs, workforce planning and recruitment strategies to deliver timely and high-quality hires
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates
- Demonstrates exceptional skills in interviewing techniques regarding federal and state laws requiring employment practices
- Provides an exceptional candidate experience from initial screen to offer/on-boarding
- Build strong working partnerships with team members, community organizations, and landscape professionals to build a network that yields success
- Attend industry events, career fairs, branch visits and community outreach initiatives (in state and out of state travel)
Are you the right fit for this role?
*Skills & experience will include, but not limited to:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field is highly preferred
- Minimum of 8 years experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process within landscaping, construction and/or relatable industries is highly preferred
- Proven success in full cycle recruiting and talent pipeline development
- Strong networking skills, to include cold calling and attending industry related events, is required
- Proven skills in negotiating offers for both candidates and hiring managers for a win/win outcome
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must with a high attention to detail
- Consistent follow-up skills with hiring managers and candidates are a must
- Able to work autonomously and under pressure to fill positions in a timely manner
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and naturally competitive in recruiting and hiring for top tier talent
- Hands on experience with ATS platforms and highly experienced in resume mining, Boolean searches on multiple sourcing sites such as: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Workday, etc
- Familiar with CA, AZ, NV labor laws & compliance practices

STARTING SALARY RANGE:
- $90,000 - $110,000 per year (specific compensation may vary based on individual skill level & experience)
- Annual Bonus potential (specific amount may vary based on overall division performance)
