Virtual Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LICSW, LMHC) | Remote
Location: Rhode Island
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
About the Role
We’re hiring independently licensed therapists in Rhode Island to provide virtual mental health care to clients from the comfort of a remote setting. Eligible licenses include LMFT, LICSW, and LMHC.
You’ll spend your day meeting with clients, understanding what they’re working through, and helping them make steady progress toward their goals. The role is best suited for a clinician who is confident working independently, values thoughtful client relationships, and stays organized with documentation and follow-up care.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients through secure video sessions and provide ongoing therapeutic support
- Complete initial evaluations and identify areas that need clinical attention
- Work with clients to set realistic goals and shape a plan for treatment
- Use therapeutic approaches that fit each client’s needs, concerns, and progress
- Keep session notes and clinical records accurate and up to date
- Watch for changes in risk or safety and respond according to established procedures
- Maintain client privacy and follow Rhode Island licensing, ethical, and HIPAA requirements
Requirements
- Active Rhode Island independent license (LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC) in good standing
- Master’s degree in an aligned behavioral health field
- Experience providing outpatient therapy services
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and professional communication
- Ability to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
