Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage reservation systems and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
- Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times and available seating options.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area.
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries politely and professionally, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
