- Hosts welcome and greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
- Hosts seat guests, maintain and organize the host stand, and update the waitlist.
- Hosts create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Hosts are friendly, organized, and have a professional demeanor.
Required skills and qualifications to be a Host with Soba and Umi:
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Restaurant experience not required
Preferred skills and qualifications to be a Host with Soba and Umi:
- Experience with OpenTable restaurant platform
Physical requirements for Host with Soba and Umi:
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
