About The Role
As the part-time Sample Coordinator, you support the Creative and Production teams by managing all fashion and product samples across goop’s content and commerce channels. You’ll act as the central point of contact between internal teams and external brands, ensuring that every item—from a hero beauty product to a key wardrobe piece—arrives, is tracked, and returns on time. This role is perfect for someone who’s organized, dependable, and excited to play a hands-on role in bringing goop’s creative vision to life.
- Coordinate all GWYN and goop beauty samples across Creative, Editorial, Social/Marketing, E-Commerce, and Warehouse teams, ensuring organization, tracking, and readiness for shoots.
- Manage external sample loans and styling pulls with brands and agencies for campaign, editorial, e-commerce, and other related shoots.
- Support photo shoot production logistics, including sample prep, wardrobe coordination, shot list creation, and on-set assistance as needed.
- Oversee the fashion closet—unpacking/packing shipments, sample trafficking, alterations, repairs, and maintaining overall organization.
- Maintain and update Monday boards, shoot schedules, and sample trackers to ensure visibility and alignment across teams.
- Coordinate sample shipping, messenger, and courier logistics between LA, NY, and international partners; manage NetSuite orders (TOs, SOs) and partner with Warehouse, Finance, and Planning for tracking and approvals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Editorial, Design, and Marketing to align on styling, deliverables, and production timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in fashion, styling, or production coordination (internship or agency experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Monday.com and Google Workspace; familiarity with NetSuite preferred
- Collaborative and solution-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- Passion for fashion, beauty, and goop’s aesthetic
FAQ
- Compensation: $19 - $20/hour Equity. This is a part-time, non-exempt role (20 hours/week, 3 days/week). Please note that this range represents the low and high ends of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA-based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
