Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on conservation topics, including biodiversity, Canadian ecosystems, and animal species.
- Collect and organize information related to conservation photography, visual storytelling, and public engagement strategies.
- Monitor emerging trends, articles and news relevant to environmental conservation.
- Compile research into clear summaries, reports, and briefing documents for internal use.
- Support the development of educational and outreach materials with evidence-based information.
- Maintain organized records of research sources, references, and data.
- Collaborate with the CCPC team to align research with ongoing projects and priorities.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in research, analysis, or a related field (academic or professional).
- Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with topics relating to environmental conservation
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in research tools, databases, and credible source evaluation.
- Passion for conservation and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
