The Engagement Coordinator will play a crucial role in identifying and fostering relationships with potential partner organizations, including environmental non-governmental organizations (ENGOs), First Nations communities, government departments, and businesses involved in conservation projects. The successful candidate will build upon our existing network and establish new connections to facilitate collaboration on impactful conservation campaigns.

Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential partner organizations aligned with the CCPC's mission and goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders, including outreach via email and phone calls.
- Collaborate with the CCPC team to identify partnership opportunities and align them with our organizational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of communication and partnership activities.
- Represent the CCPC at relevant events and meetings to promote our services and initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, conservation issues, and potential funding opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, communications, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in partnership development, outreach, or community engagement, preferably in the environmental or conservation sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Strong research abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Passion for conservation and a commitment to promoting environmental sustainability.
