An award-winning electrical design-build contractor is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join the growing team in Denver, CO.
Qualifications/Responsibilities
- 10 years of design/build electrical construction experience.
- Proficient in estimating means and methods. Proficient in Accubid or similar estimating software is highly preferred
- Produce and update a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
- Understand and organize an electrical estimate
- Provide project cost projections
- Understand OSHA requirements on electrical projects
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Prepare and maintain Monthly/Bi-weekly Cost Reports
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
- Coordinate with General Superintendent on project manpower requirements
- Prepare and maintain Schedule of Values and Pay Applications throughout the Project duration
- Build and implement project schedules
- Create and maintain Change Orders and Logs
- Oversee and plan each Electrical Project with GC from pre-construction through turnover on all projects
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple commercial projects at the same time and work in conjunction with the field superintendent and their daily operations to ensure that they are complete, on time, and under budget
- Oversee and manage daily project coordination
- Approve invoices for Vendor Payment
- Respond to issues for ongoing project(s) RFI’s (request for information) in a timely manner
- Review addendums and changes for building purposes
- Keep and maintain communications between company and GC’s, subcontractors and owner/developers throughout the building process
