A utility-focused project management firm is seeking a Project Outage Planner to coordinate system outages supporting high-voltage transmission, distribution and substation capital projects.
This role is critical to maintaining system reliability while enabling construction and infrastructure upgrades.
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience
Overtime at 1.5x hourly rate (W2)
Discretionary bonus

Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate system outages
Schedule switching for distribution, transmission and substation projects
Ensure compliance with PJM requirements
Collaborate with field teams and control centers
Analyze outage contingencies
Support capital project sequencing
Required Qualifications
Technical degree or equivalent experience
Experience in transmission and distribution environments
Understanding of outage coordination and switching procedures
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in high-volume operational settings
Preferred Experience
Experience with EMS, EDOA, GIS systems
Capital project scheduling exposure
Utility company background
This is a fully on-site role in NJ, PA, or OH.
