Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury

Our client, an established and highly regarded personal injury firm, is seeking a Trial Attorney to manage complex injury cases and drive them through litigation. This opportunity is ideal for a confident courtroom advocate who wants to handle meaningful cases and work with a team committed to achieving strong outcomes for injured clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage significant personal injury matters from initial case development through trial in North Carolina District and Superior Courts
- Develop effective litigation strategies through case investigation, discovery, motion practice, and coordination with expert witnesses
- Conduct depositions, oversee settlement negotiations, and present motions before the court
- Lead trial proceedings including witness examinations, evidentiary presentations, and jury advocacy
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing clear guidance throughout the litigation process
- Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the firm’s litigation capabilities
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the North Carolina State Bar (South Carolina Bar admission is a plus)
- 5 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience in North Carolina courts
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
- Deep understanding of civil procedure, trial preparation, and litigation strategy
- Strong communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
